Last night I prepared dinner for a few friends, and since the cold weather of its here in South Africa, I needed something tasty, delicious and hot, Steak as well as Mushroom Pie. In order to make it different I utilized a gravy recipe that I’d typically marinate and cook Greek Lamb. Holy Moly! Everybody begged Click for details the recipe. Here it is! enjoy!!

Ingredients for six people:

2 Kg effective Stewing steak such as Soft Shin or blade Steak cut in cubes

(In a huge bowl put a ½ cup flour, 2Tbs of Aromat and 2 Tablespoons Ground Black Pepper dried up mix and mix the meat cubes to coat well)

Two Medium Onions peeled as well as sliced

One Packet button mushrooms

3 or 4 medium sized carrots peeled and sliced

Make 450 Mls Gravy:

One Heaped Tablespoon gravy powder

1 Oxo cube if you have

One Tablespoon Bovril

One Teaspoon dried Rosemary

½ Teaspoon Oregano

One Teaspoon Crushed fresh garlic or perhaps ready made

One Teaspoon dry Mustard powder

2 Teaspoons Black pepper

Fifty Mls Lemon juice

Include 450 ml Boiling water and mix until geared up (the blend may be thin for gravy although it is going to thicken when added later on to the coated beef cubes) – Put aside the gravy
