Lauren Boebert's 'drunk' husband set DOGS on divorce papers server

‘s soon-to-be ex-husband Jayson was so furious when he was handed divorce papers he set his dogs on the server.

Documents obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com include statements from the server Mike Estep who said the 42-year-old spouse of the firebrand was drinking and cleaning his gun when he showed up.

Jayson became, ‘extremely angry’ when he learned the purpose of the process visit and refused to take the papers at his Silt, , home, the documents state.

Estep stated, ‘Jayson opened the door and I said “Are you Jayson Boebert,” to which he said, “That’s Me” I told him, “I have a Summons for Dissolution of Marriage for you” I could see that he was drinking a tall glass of beer and cleaning a gun that was sitting on a table.

‘Once he learned that he was being served with Dissolution of Marriage papers he was extremely angry.I tried to hand him the documents but [he] did not take them. He started yelling and using profanities and told me that I was trespassing and that he was calling the Sheriff’s Office. I told him I was leaving the documents on the chair outside the door, he closed the door then let the dogs out.’

as the reason for filing for divorce from her husband of 18 years and said in a bizarre statement that she has ‘always been faithful’. 

In an exclusive text message to DailyMail.com, her devastated husband Jayson said: ‘I am torn by this a very sad thing.A horrible moment in my life. 

‘I love her too much to say anything bad about her. She is the mother of my children and my partner for the last 20 years. Please just let me have some peace.’

A court hearing has been set for May 31 in Mesa County Court in Grand Junction, Colorado.

In her statement, the sophomore congresswoman said: ‘It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband.I am grateful for our years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, all of whom deserve privacy and love as we work through this process.’ 

‘I’ve always been faithful in my marriage, and I believe strongly in marriage, which makes this announcement that much more difficult.’

The couple were married in 2005 and share four boys together.

Boebert has also made a bid for a temporary order granting primary custody of the couple’s sons, Tyler, 18, Brody, 15, Kaydon, 13, and Roman 10, as well as child and spousal support.

The documents give the date of separation as April 25 and show that the congresswoman attempted to have her husband served with divorce papers that day but, when approached, he refused to take them.

The Boeberts will be grandparents soon, as their oldest son, Tyler, is expecting a baby with his girlfriend.She had said the baby was due in April but has made no announcement of a birth.

Lauren and Jayson met when she was 16 and working at a Burger King, she wrote in her book ‘My American Life.’

She said they ‘fell in love immediately.’ 

‘Four months after we met, Jayson and I went off to get married,’ Boebert wrote, but said they were turned away in Las Vegas because she was too young. 

‘For any “Karen” who may be reading this, Jayson and I broke no Colorado laws with our relationship, despite what you might be thinking. This was no shotgun wedding.’

They eventually got married in Rifle, Colorado, on June 9, 2006, when Boebert was 19. 

She entered Congress in 2021 as a pro-gun Republican on the far right of her party.She soon aligned herself with another controversial figure, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia — .

She squeaked in for her second term with a narrow victory in November last year, beating Democrat Adam Frisch by just 546 votes out of more than 327,000 cast.

Before that she had run a restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, called Shooters Grill.where waitresses had guns holstered on their hips and signs plastered no the walls and windows encouraged patroons to carry.

The restaurant closed last summer after the landlord declined to renew her lease. 

Both Boebert and her husband have a history of run-ins with the law.

In 2004, Jayson pleaded guilty and served jail time for public indecency and lewd exposure.

He was sentenced to four days in jail followed by two years of probation, but Boebert has repeatedly claimed that her husband never flashed anyone. 

She was dating him at the time. 

Jayson’s case marked the first of the couple’s many brushes with the police. 

Back in 2010, Boebert was arrested after a neighbor accused her two pitbulls of attacking her dog, with Boebert pleading guilty to a count of ‘dog at large’ charges and agreeing to pay a $75 fine.   

Five years later, she was arrested for disorderly conduct at a country music festival near Grand Junction after police said she tried to interfere in the arrest of minors caught for underage drinking. 

Then, in September 2016, Boebert was charged with careless driving and operating an unsafe vehicle after rolling her truck into a ditch. 

In August of last year, Jayson got into a dispute with a neighbor and reportedly threatened them and destroyed their mailbox. 

In a 911 call to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, one of the Boebert’s neighbors warned police that ‘there’s about to be some sh** going down here’ as Jayson was allegedly driving into the neighbor’s yard, reported. 

‘It’s Lauren Boebert’s jacka** husband, Jayson. He’s running over my mailbox right now,’ the distressed man said. 

‘Stop you jacka**,’ he then yelled.’Get the f*** out of here. Come on, man. What are you doing? What did we even do wrong?’

Frisch has already said that he wants a rematch and slot maxwin raised nearly three times as much as Boebert according to the latest filings with the Federal Election Commission.

But he could be beaten to the punch as last week 65-year-old conservative radio personality Russ Andrews announced he would be running against her in the Republican primary.

In an interview with the  Andrews said the difference between the two of them is that he ‘does his homework’ while she ‘doesn’t seem to have a very wide or deep trench of information’.

Boebert was first elected in 2020 and, along with Taylor Greene, first made headlines for pushing the QAnon conspiracy theory in online posts. 

Both lawmakers have since stepped back from it. 

She also turned heads for her overt love of guns – even brandishing a weapon during a Congressional hearing.
